Our story
Luminos is based on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon and brings over 20 years of marketing experience to your business. We worked as in-house marketing for 15 years for some of the biggest brands in Devon & Cornwall before setting up Luminos Web Design in 2019.
In our past life, before Luminos emerged, our background included web design, marketing and branding for a variety of industries; from high-end hotels and tourist attractions to e-commerce, retail, food, fashion and construction.
Who We Work With
We don’t put ourselves in a box of only working with one industry. It makes it more fun for us and keeps us fresh! We love working with small businesses from all backgrounds, sectors, locations and founders. Our client list includes beauty brands, jewellery, choirs, teachers, homeware, holiday cottages, charities, cafes, shops and more.
Our clients are often female founders with small but mighty businesses and a fierce passion for what they do. Looking for a new way to shine and grow, they work with Luminos to take their businesses to the next level.
Behind The Scenes
Our female founded small studio is based on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon so when we’re not coffee-fuelled and working on web designs, you’ll often find us slightly muddy around the edges, hiking on the moor or renovating our cottage and garden (it’s endless!).
With a love of all things outdoors and adventurous, plus a bit of baking thrown in, we love getting creative both in the studio and outside of it.

We work with a lot of women owned businesses and we love to help teach, empower and provide strategy and tools to other women who are growing their businesses so they can create more income and allow their voice to be heard by more people.

We believe every business owner should be enabled to have full control of their own website and shouldn’t be trapped into monthly maintenance fees with their web design company. Every website we create comes with a full handover and client training so you can edit and maintain it yourself, with confidence.
For those who prefer someone else to take the reins or they just don't have the time to make updates themselves, then we are always on hand for future support.
